Baked beans with bacon and cheese

Ingredients

600 g Baked beans 400 g Podravina bacon

150 g top cheese

Weight for 4 portions – 1.4 kg

Sauté the bacon in a pan with a little olive oil.

In a bowl, mix the roasted beans and bacon, then season with salt and pepper to taste.

Transfer the mixture to a heatproof dish and evenly sprinkle with a layer of melting cheese. Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes at 180 °C.

Tip

Pour a drizzle of olive oil or balsamic syrup over the cheese before serving to give it a shine and a premium look.

Serving

A light salad (e.g., made from arugula and radicchio with lemon) will create a fresh contrast to the rich dish.
