Short-grain rice that is most commonly used in the preparation of risotto
It is known for its high starch content, which allows it to absorb liquids and create a creamy texture during cooking
It has a mild, neutral flavor that absorbs spices, broths, and other ingredients, making it a perfect base for rich and aromatic dishes
Rinse the rice with water, sauté onions in hot oil, add the rice and briefly sauté. When it comes to a boil, cover and cook on low heat for 16 to 18 minutes.
