Red beans spread

Ingredients

500 g Red bean

30 ml pumpkin seed oil

30 g Tomato concentrate 2 g Sweet paprika ground 2 g Garlic granules

To taste salt and pepper

1 bread baguette

Pumpkin seeds for decoration

Preparation steps

Weight for 4 portions – 550 g

Drain the beans and chop them in a food processor until smooth. Add pumpkin oil, tomato paste, sweet red paprika, garlic, black pepper, and salt to taste. Blend everything together until you achieve a thick spread.

Place the prepared spread in a container, drizzle with pumpkin seed oil, and cover with foil. Keep the spread in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.

Serve on toasted bread. Garnish with pumpkin seeds that you have briefly toasted and roughly chopped.

Tip

You can substitute red beans with brown or white beans, and if you want a spicier flavor, add a little ground chili.
