Peas spread

Ingredients

450 g frozen Young peas Podravka

30 ml olive oil

30 g margarine

1 g Garlic granules

By taste, salt

Vegeta Master white pepper ground

30 g plant cream

1 with baguette bread

Sliced beets for decoration

Preparation steps

Weight for 4 portions – 500 g

Put the peas to cook in water to which you have added salt and cook until they become completely soft and start to almost separate from their skin. Drain them and let them cool well, then place them in an electric chopper.

Add olive oil, margarine, garlic, cream, salt, and pepper to taste, and blend into a thick, homogeneous mixture. Cover with foil and refrigerate for about half an hour. Serve in a bowl or shape into balls that you place on leaves of green salad. Serve on toasted bread and garnish as desired.

Tip

You can also prepare the dish with canned Podravka peas.

Serving

Spread the spread on each slice of bread, and garnish with pieces of fresh pepper and/or sprouts.
