Pastry Masterclass: How to Master the Art of Small Desserts
The masterclass workshops of Podravka’s pastry team titled “The Art of Small Desserts by Dolcela” delighted participants from various parts of Croatia. Aimed at educating pastry chefs and restaurateurs, the workshops focused on key techniques for preparing individual desserts, using Dolcela creams.
Each workshop had a clear structure: from preparing creams, through decoration, to finished sweets. Participants had the opportunity to learn how to properly prepare creams, control volume, and perfectly decorate desserts using professional molds and techniques. Promoters of pastry led the entire process, ensuring that each participant gained valuable skills and knowledge that they can apply in their own patisseries or restaurants.
The workshops – held in Gourmetro kitchens in Osijek, Rijeka, Zadar, Zagreb, and Split – were an excellent opportunity for pastry chefs to enhance their skills in preparing sophisticated small desserts. Given the growing interest in individual desserts, these workshops provided everyone with the necessary inspiration for further business development.
