How to Make Vegan Mayonnaise in a Few Steps
Vegan mayonnaise is a perfect substitute for classic mayonnaise, and thanks to its simple ingredients and quick process, you can prepare it yourself in just a few minutes.
This creamy delight will impress vegans, health food lovers, and anyone looking to try something new.
For basic vegan mayonnaise, you will need a few simple ingredients and a little time. Unsweetened soy milk is most commonly used as a base because it contains lecithin, which allows for very good emulsification, but other plant-based drinks (almond, oat, hazelnut) can also be used. Instead of plant-based drinks, you can also use aquafaba (the liquid from canned chickpeas) as a base.

Chickpea Mayonnaise
- 4 tablespoons of liquid from canned Podravka Chickpeas
- 2-3 teaspoons of Podravka Dijon mustard
- ¼ Vegeta Maestro ground black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon of Vegeta Maestro garlic granules
- 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 250 ml of oil
- Vegeta Maestro Sea salt
Blend all the ingredients (except the oil), then slowly pour in the oil while blending until the mayonnaise thickens.
This basic vegan mayonnaise is excellent for sandwiches, as a dip, or as a base for tartar sauce. Experiment with additional spices like turmeric or smoked paprika for special variations.
