Healthy Eating for Children in Focus: Presentation for Schools

Podravka’s nutrition and culinary experts held a presentation dedicated to the topic of healthy eating in schools for schools in the Virovitica-Podravina County. The event brought together principals and school cooks, who had the opportunity to learn more about the latest recommendations, trends, and practical solutions in organizing school meals.

During the presentation, participants were introduced to Podravka’s booklet School Menus with Podravka, developed based on 15 years of experience in creating standards for school meals, in accordance with national guidelines. Alongside the expert lecture, guests were able to taste dishes, exchange experiences, and receive advice on nutritional values, allergens, and standards.

In addition to presenting the menus, the emphasis was on the importance of education and continuous professional development of school staff, as they contribute daily to the health and quality of nutrition for our youngest.
