Accessibility Statement

Podravka Group is committed to ensuring the digital accessibility of its websites and mobile content for all users, including people with disabilities. We continuously work to improve the user experience and apply relevant accessibility standards.

This Accessibility Statement applies exclusively to the following website:

www.podravkaexpert.com

Standards and Guidelines

This website has been assessed against the following standards:

  • WCAG 2.2 Level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)
  • EN 301 549 (European standard for ICT accessibility)

Our goal is to achieve compliance with these standards and provide equal access to information and services for all users.

Compliance Status

The podravkaexpert.com website is currently not fully compliant with the above-mentioned accessibility standards.

An independent accessibility audit conducted by Enterwell Ltd. in July 2026 identified a number of accessibility issues that may present barriers for users with disabilities.

Summary of Identified Accessibility Issues

Critical Issues

  • The mobile navigation is not fully accessible to users relying on Android TalkBack, preventing them from opening the main navigation menu.
  • Certain filtering functionalities cannot be fully operated using a keyboard alone, preventing keyboard-only users from accessing all available filtering options.

High Priority Issues

  • Insufficient colour contrast between text and background on certain user interface components.
  • Missing “Skip to content” link.
  • Some informative images do not provide appropriate alternative text.
  • Some links do not expose sufficiently descriptive accessible names.
  • Page zoom is disabled on mobile devices.
  • Some interactive elements do not provide a visible keyboard focus indicator.

Medium and Low Priority Issues

  • Some interactive elements on mobile devices have touch targets that are too small.
  • Inline hyperlinks rely solely on colour to distinguish themselves from surrounding text.
  • Some links pointing to the same destination use inconsistent link descriptions.
  • Pagination controls do not always provide descriptive accessible names.
  • Links to PDF documents do not clearly indicate that they open a PDF file.
  • Some decorative images are not consistently implemented using an empty alt=”” attribute.
  • A centralised review of shared interface components (navigation, buttons, forms, product cards and pagination) is recommended to ensure a consistent level of accessibility across the entire website.

Measures Taken and Improvement Plan

Podravka Group recognises the importance of digital accessibility and has initiated a plan to:

  • gradually remove critical accessibility barriers that prevent access to essential website functionality;
  • redesign key user interface components (navigation, modals, forms and video content);
  • introduce accessibility quality assurance processes into the software development lifecycle;
  • perform regular accessibility reviews in collaboration with external accessibility specialists.

Our objective is to significantly improve the accessibility of the website by the end of 2026 and achieve full compliance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
