Tuna burger with ajvar and vegetables

Ingredients

Patties

200 g bread without crust

400 g Tuna chunks in vegetable oil 15 g Vegeta Natur garlic pasta 100 g Mild Ajvar 100 g Vegeta Natur pasta leek

200 g egg

100 ml cold water

150 g bread crumbs

5 g Fine ground Vegeta Optional Chopped parsley leaves

To taste salt and pepper

Sauce

200 g Ketchup (mild or spicy)

200 g mayonnaise

10 g Vegeta Natur garlic pasta Optional Chopped parsley leaves

Preparation steps

Weight for 6 portions – 1.2 kg (total weight of the mixture)

Crush the bread in a food processor and place the bread in a bowl, along with the onion and garlic paste, eggs, water, ajvar, parsley, finely ground Vegeta, and pepper. Mix everything well, then add the tuna and breadcrumbs. Mix once more and leave it in the cool for at least half an hour. Shape into burger patties.

Line the baking tray with parchment paper, brush with oil, and arrange the patties. Bake for about 5 to 10 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 °C.

In a deep bowl, mix the ingredients for the sauce.

Cut the pastry in half, spread with sauce, and then add lettuce, grilled patties, tomato, and pickles on top.

Tip

Instead of bread, you can use toast with the crust.
